We don't know why things happen the way that they do. All we know is God called you home way to soon. We're not supposed to question why and we'll never understand why God called you home as such a young man. You were a great husband, father, son and brother but also a great nephew, uncle, cousin and co-worker like no other. A good hearted man that loved to cut up and smile and did everything for your friends and family especially wife & child. You knew your job and were very smart and in our hearts we will never part. God does listen and he understands. I ask you Lord please hold our hearts and hands. Although this news is so very painful watch over us Don Don you're now our Guardian Angel. RIP Donnie Gray Jr. our cherished friend and brother. Your time on earth is done - we'll take it from here.

Robin, also known as Chicken Little here at the jail, was not just our nurse, she was also part of our family. She was such a kind, sweet spirited lady and her beautiful smile would always brighten up any room. She always brought fun, laughter, and compassion along with her as she made her daily rounds. We think and speak of you often Robin, we will miss you greatly. Our thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones. With Love and Sorrow, All your friends at the Barren County Detention Center.

Donna was a good friend
and we loved her so much.
She'll always be with us
in our hearts she has touched. She worked very hard
and did her best
While walking through the front door
she was put to the test. There was always jokes, music and laughter
whenever she was around.
I'm loud and I'm proud
she'd say in her voice so proud. There was always big tales
that she would say
Sounded like Roseanne
as the laugh she made. As we walk down the halls
of the Barren County Jail.
She'll be looking down whispering "I'm your Deputy Angel." God took her from us early
so there'd be no more pain.
She was ready to walk with Jesus
another angel heaven gained. |

Nurse
Becky was the kind of lady that when anyone spoke
her name, only good comments followed. There wasn’t
a person that she met or came in contact with whose
lives were not enriched by her smile and kindness.
There are no words to express how giving and loving
she was. She knew just what to say to lighten your
load and lift your heart. Her shoulders were broad
and she was always eager to share them. The laughter
that radiated the halls when she was here will be
greatly missed. Her care and compassion had no boundaries
no matter what color you wore behind these walls.
She gave her heart freely no matter who needed it.
Our door is darkened now that she is gone. We are
lucky to have known such a spectacular woman and
friend. Thank you, Becky for gracing our lives with
your presence. We love you and will miss you greatly.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones. With
Love and Sorrow, All
your friends at the Barren Co. Jail |

Deputy
Gary Middleton was a very loyal and kind hearted
man; he always had an encouraging word for everyone,
along with good sound advice. He was quick to share
a joke to lift you up when you were down. Not to
mention the great cook he was, all of the deputies
looked forward to the new dish he had prepared.
We have been blessed to know him. He will truly
be missed. All our hearts and prayers go out to
the Middleton family. We
love you Gary. All
your friends at Barren
Co. Jail |
